About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of stand-up paddleboarding through the unique flooded marshlands of Porlock Bay, accessible only during spring tides. Guided by qualified instructors, this 2.5-hour adventure offers wildlife encounters and scenic channels. Perfect for those with prior SUP experience, it promises an unforgettable exploration of nature's beauty.

Explore the flooded marshland at Porlock Bay by stand-up paddleboard. Only possible on spring tides, this trip provides wildlife, moving water, channels to explore and a river to wash you back out to sea. A must-do experience!

Our qualified instructors will guide you on a fun and enjoyable tour.

*For this activity you must have some prior SUP experience, if this is your first time book onto one of our taster sessions!

Weather/Conditions

Sometimes the weather doesn't allow us to get into the marshland as planned. Wind and swell can affect this. If we cannot get into the marshes on the day, we will still run a session in and around the harbour and the bay.

Who do we cater for?

This activity is suitable for ages 14+, all under 18's accompanied by a responsible adult.

Facilities at our base:

  • Fresh ground coffee and hot chocolate machine
  • Drinks and snacks
  • Toilet
  • Parking (only a few spaces available)
  • Changing rooms

A minimum group numbers of 3 is necessary to make this activity viable. We will let you know if the group size is too small, in which case you can choose to pay extra for a bespoke session or choose a future date.
