Dive Isla Bella is a scuba and snorkeling operator based in Marathon, Florida, offering boat charters, guided dives, training courses, and specialty programs. The operation runs a custom-designed vessel, the D/V Island Diver, available for private charters that include a dedicated Captain and Divemaster, complimentary beverages, and discounted rental equipment for groups. Reef Trip half-day excursions visit Florida Keys dive sites such as the Sombrero Reef Sanctuary on the third-largest barrier coral reef, with options for certified divers, SNUBA participants, and snorkelers of varied skill levels.
Training programs include Open Water Certification and Open Water Check Out Dives, the latter conducted over two half-day charters for students who have completed pool and classroom training. The Resort Course combines a four-hour pool and classroom session with a guided two-tank dive at a shallow reef and is available for ages 10 and up. The Advanced Open Water course is a 1.5-day program with three boat trips and six dives for ages 10 and up, with flexible agency options. Nitrox, Rescue, and Specialty Course offerings include a four-hour immersive session that incorporates CPR training and instruction from multiple recognized agencies for students age 12 and up.
Additional experiences include a Sunset and Night Dive trip near Sombrero Reef Sanctuary—returning at sunset near a historic lighthouse dated 1858—and a Hunting Certification taught over two half-day sessions covering gun handling, target practice, filleting, and resulting in a PADI or NAUI certification card. Refresher courses are also available to prepare returning divers. See The Adventure Collective.
