About This Adventure

Join the inaugural Float Fest on August 9, 2025, for a vibrant celebration of community and the Mississippi River! Paddle, kayak, or relax at Graco Park while enjoying live music, food trucks, and engaging activities. This unique event fosters connection and supports equitable river access through the Paddle Share program.

The Great Minnesotan Float Together!

Come one, come all to the very first Float Fest — a celebration of community, river life, and summer joy on the mighty Mississippi! Paddle with us from Coon Rapids Dam to Boom Island for a day of fun, connection, and floating together.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Pick your put-in location based on your preferred distance:

Coon Rapids Dam – ~9 miles

Gateway Regional Park – ~9 miles

River Park – ~8.5 miles

North Mississippi Regional Park (Camden Boat Launch) – ~4.5 miles

There are several Purchasing options.

  1. $40.00 Registration for those who choose to BYOB (Bring Your non-motorized watercraft) of choice, water, sunscreen, and a good attitude! Need a boat?
  2. Paddle Share inventory is available and the Rate includes the Registration Fee.
  3. Paddle Bridge Guide Collective for Kayak rentals for $25.00- $50.00 (More details in the confirmation email). Must use BYOB option to register Reserve early — supplies are limited!
  4. Hornback Boats, Show proof of BYOB registration, 612-546-4705

Shuttle Info: Shuttles will run after the event at 4:45 PM and 5:30PM to take you back to your put in location. We will have volunteers watch your boats

T-Shirts: Register and purchase your shirt before July 24th to guarantee you'll receive one at the event!
