Our Paddle Canada certified instructors will teach you about your equipment, safety and proper paddling strokes to make your time on the water safe and enjoyable.

More Information

This 2 hour course will go over:

  • How to properly use your equipment
  • Transport Canada requirements
  • Paddling while kneeling
  • Standing up
  • Paddling in a straight line
  • Forward stroke
  • Sweep strokes
  • Braking stroke
  • Falling off and remounting the board
  • Paddling in windy and turbulent conditions

This course is intended to be used with your own equipment. All paddlers must come prepared with their own Paddle Board, Paddle, Transport Canada PFD, Whistle and Leash. We can provide rentals if needed for an additional fee, just add on when booking.

What to Bring?

Please remember to bring your own personal items:

  • Water & Snack
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses (with lanyard)
  • Come dressed appropriate for the conditions
  • Phone for pictures (water case)
  • Towel and change of clothes for after ​
