Castles Resort offers pontoon rentals for both customers staying at the resort or to folks that just want to spend a relaxing day on the lake! Our pontoons are always fully maintained and easy to drive. Castles Resort is a short drive and the closest access from the Twin Cities to Mille Lacs Lake, so come on up and get out on the lake!

Things to Do

Our guests love to explore the lake on our capable pontoons! Popular highlights include swimming on the beach at nearby Father Hennepin State Park, and docking for a meal at Appledorns and Max Twin Bay resorts.

  • This vessel is suitable for 10-12 passengers. For groups with larger individuals or many coolers, we suggest a group of ten or fewer.
  • Must be 21+ to rent.
  • Guests staying with the resort receive 25% off of pontoon rentals!
  • Vehicles are welcome to unpack and load coolers and gear by our dock. Please park your vehicle on the street after unloading.
  • Instructions provided for the safe operation of the pontoon at check-in.
  • Guests are responsible for their fuel charge for their rental. We will charge the same payment method on file after your booking. If you would prefer another payment method is used for this, please present it at check-in.
