Lady Harriet is a luxury widebeam passenger boat, perfect for a a day out, family get together or celebrating that special occasion. The boat comes with a driver so you can sit back and relax or why not have a go at steering the boat with the guidance of your onboard skipper.
Lady Harriet is available to hire exclusively all year round for up to 12 passengers for a 1.5 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour boat trip.
Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a 4 burner hob, double oven, grill, fridge freezer and a kettle. Tea and coffee and all cooking and dining equipment is provided including plates, cutlery and cups. There is a 4ft table in the kitchen which can also be used as a buffet table.
Other facilities: Fully central heated, double glazed, 240 volt electrics, WiFi, flush toilet, Bluetooth music system, an indoor seating area and baby changing facilities.
Seating areas: There is an indoor seating area and also a large outdoor seating area at the front of the boat with fixed bench style seating. There is also an open rear deck with access to the skipper.
Access: Our trip boat Lady Harriet can either be accessed at the front or back down 4 steps.
Alternatively for those with restricted mobility from the canal bank we have a ramp that can be put down to enable a wheelchair or those with restricted mobility to board the large open back deck of the boat. From here access to the inside of the boat is via our disabled lift situated at the back of the boat. The lift can accommodate 1 person at a time and is only to be operated by the skipper.
Our lift can accommodate standard travel size wheelchairs. If you have your own wheelchair please discuss with us your requirements as there are some restrictions on what size wheelchairs we can take. You would be more than welcome to come and try your own wheelchair before booking. Alternatively we have an on board wheelchair that you are welcome to use.
(Unfortunately there is no disabled access to the front bow area of the boat, access to the front of the boat is via 4 steps)
Lady Harriet is self catered. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink onboard and use our facilities.
Dogs are welcome onboard this boat
Lady Harriet can accommodate up to 12 people plus our skipper. Anyone over the age of 12 months old is classed as a passenger and must be included in the maximum number of 12.
Life jackets are available with prior notice.

It is for your safety, the crew, boat and other canal users that we only allow alcohol onboard in moderation. The skipper has the right and will end the trip at any point if he believes excessive alcohol has been loaded onboard.
The skipper has the right to end the trip at any point if he deems any person onboard intoxicated Passengers will be required to make there on way back and we will not be liable for any costs incurred.
In the event of the skipper terminating the trip due any of the above all monies paid by the hirer will be non refundable.
Weather on the water can change quickly; dressing in layers keeps you comfortable.
Getting to the dock early ensures a smooth boarding process and time to enjoy the surroundings.
