Come enjoy the water with us

• Hiring out kayaks, paddleboards or canoes means you can take yourself on your own adventures, at your own pace and taking in the glorious sites along the river with as many stop offs as you wish!

• We have both single and double sit on top kayaks available, which means little ones can be safe in the front with mum or dad paddling from the back, or you may want your own boats to paddle independently!

• From the site at Bodiam, it’s easily possible to paddle down to Bodiam Castle within an hour, or hire for longer and head down to Newenden. The river’s a haven for wildlife; teaming with dragonflies, butterflies and wildflowers. There are families of ducks and swans, we’ve spotted Kingfishers and Cranes and heard tell that there are otters in the area too!

• You may even fancy taking a longer hire and a picnic with you to be able to moor up and enjoy a river bank snack!

• A great option for groups, families, hens and stags who may already have some experience and just want to go and have fun!

What to Bring

• Shoes you can get wet in - old trainers or water shoes are ideal.
• A large towel.
• Swimming Kit. We have limited changing facilities onsite, so you may wish to arrive in your swimming kit to save time and make changing easier.
