The Meraki boat is a traditional boat (trechantiri) built in northern Greece based on the design of fishing boats. She is 16 meters long, 5.5 meters wide with one mainsail and a 300 HP CATERPILLAR engine. Cruising speed is 8.0 knots and maximum speed 10 knots. There are two toilets, two showers, kitchen, bar and a cabin with a double bed.
There is enough deck space for 45 people. Around the boat there are sunny or shady places. Meraki is our largest boat, dedicated mainly to full-day cruises with barbecues and “sunset” tours, but also private tours of more than 12 people. The cruise depending on the length of the route has several stops.
For the full day shared cruise, we depart from the port at 10:00am with four to five stops during the day for swimming, snorkeling and lunch.
We set off from Paroikia port towards Aghios Spyridon, an uninhabited isle, with an old church of Agios Spyridon. We have our first swim there. We go on to explore Mikro Monastiri beach, a small secluded beach in the western side og Antiparos. Then we go to Antiparos Sea Cave, a small cave ideal for snorkelling. In the sequel, we go to Despotiko, a secluded beach on Despotiko Island, where you can have your lunch. Finally, we arrive at Panteronisia, a place with crystal clear tyrqoise waters, one of the highlights of daily cruises of Paros and Antiparos islands.
