Students will learn how to light and manage a coke fired forge and undertake a simple forging exercise using hammer and anvil with a focus on some fundamental blacksmithing techniques. The intro serves as an excellent taster before enrolling in a Module 1 course.

Requirements

Minimum age for students is 12 and under 15’s need to be accompanied by an adult, also enrolled in the class.
