Experience the magic of a full moon illuminating the Black River during an unforgettable night kayak tour. Perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers, this trip offers serene waters and wildlife encounters under the night sky.
We launch late in the day, and paddle out past the marsh to a semi-private beach. We spend the evening searching for starfish, conch shells, lightning welk and oyster. Out near the jetties a variety of birds rest along the exposed sand bar where we can sit and relax as we enjoy the sunset. Food can be brought along so friends and family can eat and listen to waves crash along the rocks. As the sun reaches the horizon, we will paddle back under twilight through the marsh to the landing. Moonrise will light the way back on those tours that are accordingly marked “Moonrise Tour.” The kayaks look like floating lanterns in the marsh, and the moon glistens off the water as if pointing the way home. This is our most romantic of all tours!
