What are you signing up for?

Imagine being submerged in deep blue glacier water surrounded by beautiful, curved cliff walls! You’ve got chills just thinking about it right!? Don’t worry, even if we can’t guarantee that you will not experience the cold at some point, we provide wetsuits to keep you safe and comfortable!

We will begin the day with a short training where you will learn some fundamental swift water swimming techniques. You MUST possess strong swimming ability, and be comfortable in moving water.

Then, enjoy whizzing through the air into the depths of the canyon on a 30-meter zipline! Once in the canyon we will harness our newfound skills and float/swim through the canyon, stopping along the way for a few jumps and ziplines if the conditions permit.

Meeting location and itinerary

Meet At David Thompson resort, 15 minutes before the start time.

Gear & safety briefing You will have a quick chat with your guide to discuss the tour progression, equipment and safety.

Drive Follow your guide in your own car (2 minute drive).

Canyon access Hike up to the lower entrance of the canyon (20 minute easy walk unless you booked the Heli option).

Workshop Short workshop on swift water swimming.

Canyoning We enter the canyon and start our descent !

Way back We might do small cliff jumps, ziplines and either float or hike out (20 minutes).

Important Minimum height limit 4'6'' Minimum age 14 - Minors must be accompanied by a guardian Max Adult waist size 42'' Good physical fitness Swiftwater swimming involved Rappel max 30 meters / Ziplines! 5 to 6 hours Group of 2 to 12 pers

What do you need to bring? Dress as if going on a cold hike Towel Running or light hiking shoes that can go in water Jacket (windbreaker, light rain jacket or hard-shell Water (1 liter/pers.) A small lunch or lots of snacks! Your best smile!
