Homeschooled students and their families are invited for an educational day at the Aquarium and Kemah Boardwalk! This is a special day to learn more about our animals and explore the wonders of the aquatic world. Keeper Chats, Scavenger Hunts and a Conservation Station with purchase of Stingray Reef Admission. Enjoy Keeper Chats, Scavenger Hunts and a Conservation Station. The activities take place in our Stingray Reef.
Tickets purchased on-site the day of the event will be charged at full price. (Entry $6.99 / Value Pass $8.50 Includes Reef entry and fish food)

We are now giving guests, friends and families the chance to upgrade their experiences with a 5 hour long day camp program, Marine Biologist for a Day! Upgrade prices below include your entry admission to Stingray Reef & Exhibits!
• Marine Biologist for a Day!
Drop off your child for the day *(or join them) to see if they have what it takes to become a Marine Biologist! Participants will spend a day behind the scenes, where all the science-in-action takes place. Experience close encounters with aquatic species from the deep sea to the shallow reef and everywhere in between. They will even get to dissect a squid!

• The calendar on this page showcases dates and times available. • Space is limited, advanced online reservations are required and are served on a first come, first served basis. • Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your educational program to allow for parking to ensure your experience to the fullest extent possible at your programs start time. The program spaces are utilized at various durations throughout the day and cannot be extended beyond your scheduled time. • Check-in for programs and tours is located at the entrance of the Nautilus Ballroom located on the 3rd floor. • To begin your tour/program, meet in the Aquarium Restaurant in the Nautilus Ballroom with the group at the start time after checking in. • No outside food or beverages are allowed. • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items the duration of the program. • *Join your child for the program: *(optional) Due to space constraints in the classroom space, only 1 Adult Chaperone will be admitted to the program free of charge. Additional adults can enjoy the aquarium while their students are in the class. Siblings and strollers are not allowed in the program. Does not include lunch. • We will need a minimum of 10 participants to run each program, if the programing does not reach this minimum, you will be contacted and full refunds will be processed if necessary.
Getting there early ensures you beat the crowds and have the best access to interactive sessions.
Bring waterproof clothing or towels for handling marine specimens during the "Marine Biologist for a Day" program.
Since activities are partly outdoors, wear comfortable clothing suited for Texas weather.
