9am to sunset
The ALL DAY Charter Sail is a great way to experience sailing Orange Beach and Pensacola to the fullest. We will depart our dock at 9am and sail / motor either to the Gulf or down the Intracoastal Waterway depending on wind and tide. We will set a course to Sand Island, part of Big Lagoon State Park only accessible by boat. We will take a beach break when we arrive for lunch. You can swim, walk on the beach or lay on the deck and take a nap. It's a great place to enjoy the unspoiled beaches of Perdido Key.
The sailing time is on the way to and from Sand Island. We may have to use the motor and sails to do this depending on the wind. During the summer, we usually have a good southern breeze which is perfect for sailing to the island and back. It will be an easy sail with plenty to see. We will pass behind Ono Island and in front of the famous FloraBama. Arriving in Pensacola Pass, we should see plenty of Dolphins (they seem to hang out more there), birds and schools of fish (we might try to catch one!). This trip includes a private sunset, we get back after dark.
On the All Day sail you need to bring sun block, sun glasses, maybe a hat (the sun is more intense on the water), your music (we provide the radio), beach towel, bathing suit, special drinks you may want, and lunch (we can provide it upon request). All other items are provided by Orange Beach Sailing Adventures. We have drinks and snacks (Water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Peanuts, Chips, Pretzels etc...) but feel free to bring your own. Soft sided coolers only please.
Apply waterproof sunscreen and wear a hat to stay protected during the sunny Gulf Coast waters.
Opt for lightweight, quick-drying layers suitable for sitting or swimming on the boat.
Bring plenty of water to stay refreshed during your full day on the water.
Secure your spot early especially during peak season to ensure availability.
Orange Beach has long been a vital hub for Gulf Coast fishing and maritime activity, with a rich history dating back over a century.
