Experience an unforgettable 30-hour adventure that combines history and nature. Begin with a guided jet boat ride to the Bridge to Nowhere, then paddle down the stunning Whanganui River. Enjoy breathtaking scenery, tranquil waters, and exciting rapids as you journey back to Pipiriki, creating lasting memories along the way.

Enjoy the history that we share during our guided jet boat, walk to the Bridge to Nowhere. Followed by paddling down the Whanganui River to Tieke Kainga/hut in the afternoon.
Day 2 is spent paddling from Tieke Kainga/hut back to Pipiriki (20kms). This takes 4-5 hours to paddle and you pass through some of the best scenery on the Whanganui River, with long flat sections of water and also some rapids to keep it refreshing.
Layer up and bring waterproof gear to stay comfortable during changing weather.
Ensure you have waterproof paddle and clothes to stay dry in rapids and rain.
Practice paddling techniques beforehand to handle exciting rapids safely.
