Like everything else in WHTT, we started to do it because friends visiting us were asking for them. First the city, then food, what we loved to do, and so basically since the beginning, we were sharing our passions (we still do) with all our friends. Surfing is just another one we have, and we are very happy to share it with you. We've put together a surf day, for you to have the most fun, while experiencing the waves, beach, surf and obviously the food. This day is for those who want to have their introduction to surfing for the first time, but it's also for those that want to know more about the surf scene in Lisbon, while catching some waves. We pick you up in the city center, and head south, crossing the 25th of April bridge (Golden gate sister) to the other side where the beach is waiting for us. Everything will be ready for you, wetsuit (yes, you will need it for the refreshing water of the Atlantic Ocean), surfboard, and for the ones that need, a good looking ;) surf instructor to help you catch the first waves of your life. After the surf session, lunch to gain energy for us to continue to explore the south coast. We will check other beaches, and also one of the oldest and last remaining fishing villages of Lisbon region. At the end of the day you will be able to say that you are a local surfer already ;) Surf now or cry in the sand.
