Soul of NOLA will take you through the French Quarter/Vieux Carré, and then venture just inside the adjacent Tremé neighborhood.
The Tremé neighborhood, an area settled by many Free People of Color, we’ll begin by discussing its history. We'll stop at the oldest African American church in the country. We'll also go into Armstrong Park and Congo Square, talking about its link to music and how New Orleans became the birthplace of jazz. This tour will be tailored to your personal tastes and interests, as are all our excursions.
