You step out of the van onto a quiet Georgia main street and the town takes over—brick storefronts stare back like old players on a set, window displays still holding props that watched seasons unfold. The air smells faintly of frying oil and cut grass; the wooden posts of porches seem to remember cameras rolling as much as summer afternoons.
