Join the excitement at DFW Surf's Annual Wake Surfing Contest on September 13! Compete in various age and skill divisions, enjoy unlimited falls, and showcase your skills on the water. With boat demos from Action Watersports and prizes for winners, this event promises a thrilling day for all surf enthusiasts.
When? Saturday, September 13 Where? DFW Surf at Hidden Cove Park and Marina- 20400 Hackberry Creek Park Rd, Frisco. Open practice surf session will take place on Friday. Awards will take place following event around 5 pm. Event running order will be announced a couple of days prior to event start
Each competitor will receive a 5 minute run and an unlimited number of falls. Action Watersports will be offering boat demos on new Centurion boat models throughout the day.
More details about start times will be announced a week before the event.
Competitors are only allowed to choose 1 division for wake surfing and then an optional Foil division is also available. (you can be entered for a total or 2 divisions: Any 1 surf category and Foil)
Take advantage of the open practice surf session on Friday to familiarize yourself with the water and boats.
The event is outdoors on water, so use waterproof sunscreen and UV-protective clothing to avoid sunburn.
Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated during the intense physical activity on the water and under the sun.
