With boat demos from Action Watersports and prizes for winners, this event promises a thrilling day for all surf enthusiasts.
DFW Surf's Annual Wake Surfing Contest Sponsored by Action Watersports featuring Centurion Boats
When? Saturday, September 13 Where? DFW Surf at Hidden Cove Park and Marina- 20400 Hackberry Creek Park Rd, Frisco. Open practice surf session will take place on Friday. Awards will take place following event around 5 pm. Event running order will be announced a couple of days prior to event start
Each competitor will receive a 5 minute run and an unlimited number of falls. Action Watersports will be offering boat demos on new Centurion boat models throughout the day.
More details about start times will be announced a week before the event.
Info about Divisions:
- 1st Summer Surfer (All Ages)
- Grom- 6-9 Years
- Juniors - Ages 10-13
- Teens- Ages 14-17
- Collegiate (in College)
- Beginner - Ages 18 +
- Intermediate/Amateur
- Masters - 40 + Years Old
- Legends- 50+ Years Old
- Advanced/Outlaw - Semi-Professional level
- Foil- Strapless Wake Foil Division
Prizes for 1st Place in Each Division. Lunch, 1 Raffle Ticket and T-Shirt included for all competitors.
Competitors are only allowed to choose 1 division for wake surfing and then an optional Foil division is also available. (you can be entered for a total or 2 divisions: Any 1 surf category and Foil)
Additional Raffle Tickets:
- 1st Raffle Ticket included with competitor registration
- $20 for 5 tickets
- $50 for 15 tickets
- $75 for 25 tickets
- $100 for 35 tickets
