About This Adventure

Go by private boat to an uninhabited island for extended dolphin viewing, birding, cast netting, the best shelling beach combing. This trip appeals to return customers and/or those who have experience in back country exploring and want to see some of the most remote parts of the island. Discover the best beach for sand dollars. The extra time allows for plenty of beach combing, viewing Bald Eagles and their nest, as well as observing more than just one pod of dolphin. It allows time to land on the hammocks (cool weather) as well as the beaches. To play in the surf or the tidal creeks if you desire. We recommend seeing the island at both low tide and high tide. High Tide trip is a great overview for your first trip with us. LOW TIDE reveals a larger beach and landing on the newly formed sand bar right in front of Little Tybee. Dolphin can be observed mudding or strand feeding on this tide. You will see the oyster rakes and the live whelk in their shells on the sand bar. If you get lucky you may find an abandoned one whelk shell. The Knobbed Whelk is Georgia's state shell. This is what many people think of as a conch. You may have to cover a lot of beach but you could find anything. 3 hours

Adventure Tips

Book Early for Whale Season

Reserve your spot several months in advance during humpback migration (December to April) to secure the best whale watching experience.

Bring Reef-Safe Sunscreen

Protect Hawaii’s sensitive coral reefs by using reef-safe sunscreen to minimize environmental impact during snorkeling and deck time.

Motion Sickness Preparedness

If you’re prone to seasickness, bring medication or remedies as ocean swells can vary, especially on open-water legs of the trip.

Hydrate and Dress in Layers

Hawaii’s weather can shift quickly; bring a light jacket for cooler moments and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
