Salt and diesel mix in the air as instructors run through one-on-one checks, the clack of regulators and fins a practical percussion to the ocean’s hush. In minutes the shoreline is a distant line; below, a mosaic of coral and rock waits in shallow blues, inviting you to move from tourist to participant.
