Volunteering at this event offers a behind-the-scenes view of one of the most anticipated annual outdoor gatherings in the Northeast, held right at the Bear Mountain base area.
The role of volunteers is crucial to the smooth running of the Pond Skim, supporting the Killington Events Team by managing registration and participant check-in. Expect to help with greeting guests, verifying Express Assumption of Risk forms, handing out bibs, and providing key info about the event schedule. Volunteers become the welcoming face for excited riders and the crowd, contributing directly to the event’s vibrant atmosphere.

Multiple volunteer roles are available across events, offering lift tickets, meals, and hands-on experience.
