Embark on a breathtaking 6-hour hike at Volcanoes National Park, starting from the Kilauea Visitor Center. Experience stunning views of Kilauea Iki Crater, traverse through steam vents and lush Hawaiian forests, and explore the iconic Thurston Lava Tube, making this adventure truly unforgettable.
We will start at the Kilauea Visitor Center and boasts magnificent views of the Kilauea Iki Crater. The approximately 8 mile loop takes you through a field of steams vents into a native Hawaiian forest. We will then enter the actual crater itself, and the hike concludes with the iconic Thurston Lava Tube, one of the park's most popular attractions.
Trails can be uneven and volcanic rock is sharp, so good footwear is essential.
