A part daytime, part evening experience to the Volcanoes National Park. Get up close and personal with Goddess Pele, creator of the Hawaiian Islands and central vortex of Hawaii's creativity energy as you venture around her home, the Halema'umau crater. Connect with the most active volcano in the world and tune in to the vortex energy. The Volcano Vortex Hike consists of an eight hour adventure starting with a stroll through the famous Thurston Lava Tube, a guided hike across and around Kilauea Iki crater (an ancient volcanic crater) with guided meditation near steam vents, and followed up with a hike to the lava overlook to see the fiery glow of Pele in all her glory. Please note, availability of the lava viewing platform may vary due to social distancing measures enforced by the park.
Transportation to/from Kailua-Kona and all entrance fees are included with the ticket price! Pick-up & drop-off from any other location on island can be arranged for an additional charge.
