-Very well-known SIIDA - Sámi Museum and Nature Centre is your guide to Sámi Culture and northern nature. We will start the trip from hotel and walk by the side of beautiful river Juutua 1km walk to the museum. Museum is recently renovated and the new permanent exhibition ”Enâmeh láá mii párnááh – These lands are our children” has opened on June 1st, 2022. You will get familiar with the rich and varied history of the Sámi people and their role in modern day Lapland also you will see all the 8 seasons of Lapland and see the wonders of Arctic Nature. There is also a wonderful gift shop selling handmade products to take back home as souvenirs or presents.
The tour includes a 1 km walk along the Juutua River to the museum, so wear sturdy, comfortable shoes.
