This first-class trail riding option is geared toward couples and families looking for a more exclusive horseback experience.

We start our ride at Willow Creek Ranch, and then climb 1,000 feet up Ann’s Ridge to Ann’s Pond where we often find moose grazing and drinking. During our climb you will take in the breathtaking 360 degree Southern views of the Grand Tetons with its peaks ranging from 9,000 to 13,000 feet.

We then travel to Willow Creek, making several water crossings before arriving for lunch at the historic Rim Rock Ranch location where sightings of moose, deer and early season elk are common.

This VIP ride is exclusive to your private group and takes place 100% in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. You’ll be accompanied by one of our cowboy photographers throughout your ride who will capture the moments that create memories, memories that can be shared and preserved forever through pictures.

Rides depart Willow Creek Ranch Monday through Saturday at 10 AM (closed Sunday), returning at approximately 2:30 PM (lunch included).

Important Details

  • Children 8 and older are welcome.
  • In consideration of the health of our horses, we are able to take riders up to a maximum of 265 pounds.
  • Horses are to be ridden at a walk at all times and riders must maintain proper spacing between horses.
  • Groups range from two to eight people. For larger groups and private parties, special arrangements are available.

All of our summer trail rides and pack trips are strictly first class, with professional Guides, Wranglers, deluxe camps, high quality meals, and personalized attention to every guest. Our horses and mules are the finest in the business and our equipment is always in excellent, dependable condition.

We have excellent horses, most of which have been with us for years. Our guides will select a horse that best fits each rider based on size and riding experience, adjusting each saddle to ensure the most comfortable horseback riding experience.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in your ride cost. While tipping is done at your discretion, tipping is one of the gauges we use in terms of customer satisfaction. If you are ever not satisfied, please let us know so that we can enhance our rides in the future.
