You step out of a cooled minivan into humid jungle light; birds call above and the limestone floor crinkles underfoot. At Nicte Ha sunlight pierces an open sinkhole, turning the surface into a moving mirror and revealing small, curious fish beneath. Later, the tour slips into shadow as Taak Bi Ha opens into an underground chamber where stalactites hang like frozen daggers and the water is glass-cold and impossibly clear.
