Villa Calabassa: Luxury 11-Bedroom Waterfront Mansion in Miami Beach

Villa Calabassa sits at 300 Alton Rd in Miami Beach, Florida, a waterfront mansion that turns group travel into an event. Spread across 8,600 square feet, this eleven-bedroom home sleeps 22 and fronts more than 140 feet of private dock on Biscayne Bay. Whether you arrive by car or by boat, the house makes the water part of your itinerary: morning coffee on the dock, an afternoon swim in the heated pool and spa, and evenings under stars with a private chef or DJ. Inside, the layout reads like a boutique hotel—multiple living rooms, dining nooks, and curated design touches that push the stay beyond a generic rental. Eleven bedrooms and nine bathrooms (seven full, two half) mean flexible sleeping combinations for wedding parties, family reunions, or corporate retreats. For downtime there’s a ping-pong table and foosball for competitive lulls, and a large waterfront lawn for lawn games or a tented event. What sets Villa Calabassa apart is scale and location. Few properties in Miami Beach pair this much private dock frontage with immediate access to the city’s restaurants, galleries, and beaches. From the water you get wide channel views toward Biscayne Bay; on land you’re minutes from Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive and the Art Deco District. The house also functions as a staging ground for water activities—rent a yacht or jet ski, launch off the dock, or book a helicopter tour to slice through the coastal skyline. The booking is straightforward: three-night minimum stays, full linens and toiletries provided, plus optional add-ons such as private chefs, bartenders, DJs, or transfers. Cleaning fees and certain extras are charged separately; a rental contract outlines terms at booking. Because the property sits at the urban edge where coyol palms and manicured lawns meet bay waters, it offers both privacy and easy access to Miami Beach’s nightlife and cultural scene. Families and groups who want a single home to gather, celebrate and then disperse into Miami’s energy will find this property especially useful. It’s a rare option for large groups that demand both private amenities and proximity to town. Bookers should expect a lively, social basecamp with direct water access and the logistical infrastructure to stage anything from a quiet family holiday to a waterfront celebration. Because Miami Beach was incorporated in 1915, its shoreline has long been a crossroads for Caribbean and Latin American cultures, reflected in nearby dining and nightlife. Days at Villa Calabassa can be as curated or as spontaneous as you like: order a private chef to craft a Miami-inspired menu, step onto the dock to watch dolphins pass through the channel, or paddleboard at sunrise before the city wakes. For planners, onsite space simplifies logistics for large gatherings.
