Broby bro, on of Sweden’s most famous viking burial grounds

  • Learn about and visit Viking burials, both pagan and Christian. Hear what the runestones of this sight can tell us. Hear about Estrid, a mighty Viking woman.

Jarlabanki's bridge, an old partly reconstructed Viking bridge

  • About Viking lords, their power, bridges and roads . Learn more about the mighty Jarlabanke kin group and their influence.

Arkil Assembly site, a Viking Parliament

  • Hear about viking laws, the society of the vikings and how decisions where made in the society and how disputes were settled. Go down to lake and learn some about the Viking ships and journeys to faraway lands.

Sigtuna, the oldest town of Sweden

  • Visit the beautiful wooden town of Sigtuna, the oldest city of Sweden. Walk among the medieval church ruins, visit the museum (to Viking findings from the excavations) and walk along the big street who still have the same stretching as it had in the viking age.

Old Uppsala and its grave mounds

  • Visit the king burial mounds at Old Uppsala, one of Swedens most important historical places. Visit the former medieval Cathedral, walk among the 11m high grave mounds while the guide goes through its rich and long history that stretches back roughly 1500 years.
