The hull cuts through Caribbean blue and the island appears like weathered limestone rising from the sea — Vieques close enough to see its cliffs and scrub from the bow. Guests step off a short boat run and into water clear enough to read the reef below; coral fingers, parrotfish and the occasional sea turtle move with a patient, deliberate grace that dares you to breathe slowly.
