About

Enjoy a fun start to your morning with our Venture Nearshore Fishing Charter from Ko Olina. This Venture Charter is focused on nearshore and reef fishing, all while learning about our coastline and fish species.

With our seasoned captains learn about local fishing technique, lures, and more. Based on your experience, target different types of fish. Troll the 40 fathom ledge for small tuna or jig the shallows for Papio (Trevally), Ta'ape (Yellow Snapper), or even the elusive Uku (Green Jobfish).

As with all our charters, keep an eye on the water as ocean life can be found at anytime, anywhere. We may get a visit from Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin, Humpback Whales (seasonally), Bottlenose Dolphin and even Flying Fish.

Though we practice catch and release for most fish caught, taking your catch home is a possibility based on legal limits and the Captain's discretion.

If you are hoping for a deep sea fishing charter, this is unfortunately not your stop. We'd be happy to offer recommendations as to what you may want to experience.
