The motor yacht slips away from the quay as the city shifts from workday bustle to the hush of evening; masonry and bell towers lean toward the water, and the lagoon opens like a cool, breathing room. Passengers settle into cushioned seats while the yacht threads the southern lagoon, windows of the city softening as the sun begins its slow descent.

The Venice lagoon has been shaped by centuries of human engineering and maritime trade; islands like Poveglia also carry quarantined and hospital histories from past pandemics.
The lagoon is ecologically sensitive: stick to low-wake zones, avoid littering, and support operators who follow local speed and waste rules to protect marsh habitats.
