Your English speaking tour representative will meet you at the Cruise Terminal in Venice Port, for this Venice Half Day tour.

Your first stop will be the Palazzo Ducale, or Doge’s Palace, residence of the Doge of Venice, and ancient HQ of Venice’ Government for more than a thousand years.

Your professional English speaking guide will give you an interesting description of some famous creations by renowned artists such as Tintoretto. While visiting the Doge’s Palace, you will see La Sala del Gran Consiglio, the Hall of the Grand Council, and many other extraordinary works of art.

Of course, you can’t miss the chance to walk on the “Bridge of Sighs”and visit the Venetian Republic’s State prison.

As one of the final experiences, you’ll return to Piazza San Marco Square, where your professional guide will give you a meticulous description of this Square is so famous. The amazing thing is that the Square is always full of life: Children’s laughter, chatter and music and little cafés where you can enjoy some time to relax, have an Espresso, some homemade gelato, maybe.

Another thing you absolutely have to try is a traditional gondola ride. Take a stroll through the many canals such as Canal Grande and take in the scenery.
