2. Vatican Museum

3. Sistine Chapel

Walk through the room and enter the Sistine Chapel. This is the Pope's personal place of worship and a highlight of the Vatican Tour. Stand under Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam and admire his colourful mural, The Last Judgement, which covers the ceiling and decorates the entire wall.

4. St Peters Basilica

After visiting the Sistine Chapel, proceed to St. Peter's Basilica, the iconic center of the Catholic Church. Learn about its history and see other Vatican works of art, including Michelangelo's La Pieta, created when Maestro was only 24 years old. Marvel at Bernini's canopy and say goodbye to your guide in St. Peter's Square. Please note that St. Peter's Basilica and Square may not be accessible on Wednesdays due to the weekly Papal Audience. Alternatively, a long-term tour of the Vatican Museums, including between the Sistine Chapel and Raphael Rooms, is offered.
