What to bring

  • Clothing: Loose fitting, comfortable clothes, or sportswear. Closed footwear, no sandals or flip-flops on all tours.
  • Layering clothes is best as Vancouver – and throughout BC – we frequently encounter changing weather conditions especially in the mountains.
  • For hikes, proper shoes such as running shoes, or hiking footwear with good support is mandatory.
  • A day backpack to carry your personal belongings.
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat for sun protection.
  • Camera or phone to take pictures.
  • Cash or credit cards for purchases along the way.

Adventure Tips

Wear layered clothing

Weather can shift quickly along the coast, so bring layers to stay comfortable throughout the ride.

Use sunscreen and sunglasses

The trail has long stretches exposed to sun—protect your skin and eyes, especially in summer.

Bring cash or cards for lunch stops

There are great local restaurants and shops in Steveston, but not all accept digital payments.

Helmet use is mandatory

Safety first: helmets are included and required during the tour for all riders.
