Book a tour to the grave field of Valsgärde, a place of several magnificent ship burials from the pre-viking and viking era. Se and walk among the the mounds where the ships where dragged from local lake and places into ready-made holes dug from them. These holes are still here today. On your tour you'll walk on the grave field with a experienced tour guide explaining the place, its different burial mounds and the many riches found on site in 1930:s.

This grave field is 3km away from Old Uppsala so a car is needed to book this tour (transport might be arranged if you ask in advance). You'll pick up the guide in Old Uppsala or central Uppsala before the tour.
