About Vallea Lumina

Whistler's iconic multimedia night walk: Vallea Lumina. Between the trees, in the shadow of mountains, legends say there’s a hidden valley where stardust falls from the sky, filling all living things with its pure light. Join this evening excursion as you follow a path marked by the lingering traces of two hikers from long ago in search of a hidden valley that’s filled with unexpected enchantment. Make sure to not miss the clues along the way!


Details

  • The Vallea Lumina pathway is 1.5km of undulating unpaved trail including over 200 steps up and down stairs and typically takes guests between 45-60 minutes to complete.
  • The first showtime begins as sundown. Current tour times available online.
  • Booking in advance is required as space is limited with earlier showtimes selling out fastest.
  • Please arrive at the showtime listed on your ticket.
  • There must be at least 1 adult, aged 19 or older, with guests 15 years old or under.

After successfully making your booking, a confirmation email containing your tickets will be sent. Please have your tickets ready to be scanned at check in.

Mobility

This experience takes place outside within a trail network which is partially levelled gravel and not paved

  • This path is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility as it includes several staircases with over 200 steps up and down stairs.
  • For little ones, using a baby carrier is recommended. Strollers are unfortunately not permitted including the off-road/sports models due to the number of stairs.
  • There are benches along the throughout the experience to rest and relax.

  • Camera's Welcome (Just please make sure the flash is turn off)
  • Rain Jackets or Rain Ponchos (Umbrella's are not permitted on the course as to avoid blocking the view of other guests)

Tours run rain or shine: Please dress for the weather as it can be chillier in the evening. Close-toed shoes or strapped sandals that are comfortable and are suitable for uneven terrain are highly recommended. Please do not wear high heeled shoes.


Cancellation Policy

Tickets are non refundable. If the show cannot operate due to severe weather or technical difficulties, tickets will be refunded automatically.

If you are late, we will do our best to get you on the next available show time. Guests will not be permitted to enter after the last showtime of the evening.
