You skid out of Kanab before sunrise, the UTV’s engine thrumming as redrock cliffs and scrub stretch toward a low, green pocket at the head of a narrow canyon. The trail narrows, trees lean in, and a natural spring beads the canyon walls with moss and seepage—a cool contrast to the baked sand and wind-carved ridges you passed ten minutes earlier.
