Located in the heart of southern Utah, Kanab Tour Company LLC offers a dynamic gateway into some of the region's most striking desert landscapes. Based in Kanab, a hub for adventurers venturing beyond Zion and Bryce Canyon, this company crafts experiences that combine off-road thrills and intimate hikes through iconic slot canyons and geological wonders.
Kanab’s tours shine through carefully curated routes around Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon and South Coyote Buttes, places renowned for their narrow passageways, swirling sandstone walls, and vividly layered rock formations sculpted over millions of years. Guests ride stable, comfortable UTVs (Utility Terrain Vehicles), propelled by guides who not only prioritize safety but also tailor the journey to suit families and solo travelers alike. These personable guides—Nick, Kelly, Trevor, Mica, and Becca—have deep knowledge of the landscape, geology, and cultural history, connecting visitors with the story beneath the red-rock veneer.
Beyond the adrenaline of navigating sandy trails and rocky ridges, participants engage in hikes that uncover hidden details inaccessible to larger crowds, from ancient petroglyphs near the North Rim to smooth rock scrambling in Grand Chamber. The flexible, guided experiences reveal quiet corners of the landscape where light filters through sculpted canyon walls, evoking memories captured through the eyes of children and adults alike.
Families rave about the safety and fun factor, with several guests highlighting how guides make every stop engaging and educational. The UTVs provide easy access to areas that would require strenuous effort otherwise, making this company an excellent choice for visitors wanting to maximize their time in southern Utah’s backcountry. Whether it’s the exhilaration of a bumpy ride or a slow-paced hike revealing geologic secrets, Kanab Tour Company delivers a grounded adventure that is uniquely tied to the desert’s raw beauty and deep-time history.
