Requirements are that you must have an NRA Basic Pistol Certificate in order for you to complete all requirements for you to receive your UTAH or Florida CCW Permit. The NRA Basic Pistol certificate course is 8 hours. You will learn current laws regarding the carrying of a concealed firearm on your person. Where you can carry it and where you cannot. You will learn about the judicious use of deadly force and the law 2.0 hrs. We add on extra time for the live fire portion of the course. You will be required to pass the California live fire marksmanship portion of the course.
Ensure your NRA Basic Pistol Certificate is current and available as it's required for course enrollment.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete paperwork and safety briefings without rush.
Wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing for both classroom and range activities.
