About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable Brisbane highlights tour, exploring stunning parks, iconic architecture, and the breathtaking Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the botanical gardens before visiting the renowned Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, home to over 130 koalas and unique Australian wildlife. Experience the beauty and history of Brisbane!

We will pick you up your Brisbane CBD hotel and begin your highlights tour in Brisbane by taking in the wonder of nature and incredible architecture of our beautiful river city which was only founded in 1799 by a member of the first fleet Matthew Flinders who thought Brisbane was going to be a great place to house the convicts of England.

Much to their surprise Brisbane had so much to offer and still does!!!

Visiting New Farm Park and Brisbane Powerhouse - a pre-war industrial power station turned iconic arts centre, heritage listed Story Bridge, which connects central Brisbane to Kangaroo Point.

We will then make our way to Kangaroo Point Cliffs, where we may be lucky enough to see some serious rock climbers or brave abseilers. Fun fact - the cliffs were created by convicts mining the volcanic rock which form the cliffs.

Stopping for lunch which is included at the botanical garden cafe, we will enjoy a sumptuous tasty cafe style meal with incredible views of the gardens, if time permits we may have some time to meander through the gardens.

Next we will take a drive through the city and up to the heights of Mt Cootha orignally name Coo-tha which is reminscent of the stingless honey bees which were native to the area and means honey mountain in the aboriginal language.

The highlight of the tour must be our visit to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and explore at your own pace. With over 130 koalas, it is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary. Get up close and personal with emus, wombats, and maybe even the endangered Tasmanian Devil!

Direct transfer back to your city hotel makes for an amazing day out!
