Wir hören von früheren Landsitzen und Ausflugslokalen, sehen die einstige Flaniermeile Hoheluftchaussee und erkunden das Areal der ehemaligen Waggonfabrik Falkenried sowie die Falkenriedterrassen. Auf dem Weg liegt das dicht bebaute Generalsviertel durch das wir zu ehemaligen Tabakfabriken und Lichtspieltheatern gelangen. Wir schauen in verwunschene Hinterhöfe, sehen ein Autohotel im Stile der Fünfziger Jahre und erleben, wie das dichtbesiedelte Viertel bis heute von dynamischem Wandel geprägt ist.
