Your guide will greet you at 10 am at your Hobart accommodation before heading out on foot to sample the best of Hobart’s food and beverages. Start your day by tasting some of Hobart’s homemade chocolate creations. Continue to iconic Battery Point, where morning tea is served in one of the oldest Tasmanian bakeries. Enjoy a light lunch overlooking the picturesque Hobart waterfront, once the hub of a thriving whaling industry. Continue to one of Australia's leading distilleries and hear about the craft of whisky distillation at the historic cellar door. Tasmania’s pure water, climate and local barley are perfect for distilling some of the world’s greatest whisky. After you have been fortified with a taste of their single malt, conclude your day with an oyster tasting right at Hobart’s waterfront before the guide bids you farewell at your accommodation by around 3 pm.
