To complete your booking, you will be asked to estimate the helmet size of each Renter.
To get the approximate size for your helmet, use a measuring tape around the widest point of your head (approximately 1 cm above the ears) to get the correct measurement for a helmet. If you do not have time to do this, please estimate your helmet size to the best of your ability. Most adult females require XS to ML, most adult males require M to XL, and most children require XXS to S.
XXS – Extra Extra Small (51-52 cm) XS – Extra Small (53-54 cm) S – Small (55-56 cm) M – Medium (57 cm) ML – Medium Large (58 cm) L – Large (59-60 cm) XL – Extra Large (61 cm) XXL – Extra Extra Large (62-63 cm)
To complete your booking, you will be asked to select the experience level of each Renter.
Beginner – Renter has never ridden a scooter (or other 2-wheeled vehicle) or is no longer confident riding one.
Intermediate – Renter has basic knowledge of how to ride a scooter (or other 2-wheeled vehicle), has put that knowledge to practice for at least 2 to 5 hours, and is still confident riding one despite a possible significant gap period.
Advanced – Renter owns a scooter (or other 2-wheeled vehicle) and/or regularly rents a scooter (or other 2-wheeled vehicle) while away from home with no significant gap period.
Expert – Renter has a motorcycle license (or motorcycle endorsement on a standard driver's license) and/or extensive experience riding a scooter (or other 2-wheeled vehicle) over a continuous period of time exceeding 5 years with no significant gap period.
If it rains at the scheduled tour time, you may opt to proceed with the tour with supplied rain gear or opt for a full refund. The tour may also be postponed to a later time. If a Renter is not comfortable riding the scooter after the training, they can opt to ride on the back of the guide’s two-seater scooter, or with another Renter who is comfortable with taking a passenger on a larger two-seater scooter.
