Operated by City Game · Uppsala, Uppsala County
A crisp morning in Uppsala, the river Fyrisån glinting and dareing you to look closer, is the kind of setting that turns ordinary streets into stages. The Sherlock Holmes City Game drops players into that scene: clues tucked behind façades, digital characters appearing on your phone, and stretches of cobblestone that set the pace for sleuthing rather than sprinting.

After booking you’ll receive instructions by email; install the Loquiz app, follow the setup steps, and start at the suggested city-center point any time on your booked date.
The written guide is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Dutch, so players can choose their preferred language in the app.
One ticket covers a group of 1–4 players on a single device; larger groups should book multiple tickets so everyone can participate.
The route uses city streets and some cobbles; it’s suitable for most mobility levels but not recommended for those who require barrier-free routes without steep steps—check local accessibility on specific segments.
Uppsala’s university and cathedral have shaped the city since the Middle Ages; many streets in the center retain medieval alignment and stories tied to student life and historical events.
Walking tours are low-impact—stick to public paths, carry out litter, and choose local cafés and businesses to support the city’s cultural economy.
City Game operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
