The river pushes and eddies like a living map—clear riffles, tailing pools and braided channels that dare you to find the seam where trout hold. On this three-hour walk-and-wade trip from AVA’s Kremmling outpost, anglers move with their guide along the Upper Colorado, stepping carefully across cobble bars and into slow, ankle- to knee-deep runs where casts matter more than distance.
