Adventure Tips

Reserve in advance during peak seasons

Annual members should book kayak rentals early to secure preferred times, especially on weekends and holidays.

Wear sun protection year-round

Even on cloudy days, UV exposure is high near water; bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.

Check local weather before paddling

Florida weather can change quickly, so monitor forecasts to avoid thunderstorms or high winds.

Respect wildlife habitats

Keep a safe distance from manatees and birds to avoid disturbing them, and never feed wildlife.
