Situated in Gretna, Louisiana, just across the Mississippi River from New Orleans, Be Creative offers an exceptional hands-on crafting experience tailor-made for children: the Kids Cream Glue & Resin Party. This lively two-hour session invites young artists, ages undefinable but generally kids, to dive into a colorful world of personalization and design. Nestled at 2210 Belle Chasse Hwy, Be Creative is a cornerstone of the local recreation and art scene, blending fun, learning, and social engagement under one roof.
The charm of this party lies in its thick palette of creative choices. Each child selects an item to transform—options include phone cases, mirrors, pencil cases, jewelry boxes, or hair brushes—allowing a personal connection to the project right from the start. What follows is a vibrant journey filled with cream glue in a spectrum of mesmerizing colors and resin charms, alongside an unlimited array of embellishments like rhinestones and glitter, offering a chance to craft truly unique keepsakes.
What distinguishes the Kids Cream Glue & Resin Party in this part of Louisiana is the studio’s welcoming, clutter-free environment that supports experimentation without limits. Catering to groups of up to 12 kids, with a cap of 20 if needed, this event also ensures that parents and guardians can comfortably observe (up to six non-participating guests allowed). The package includes all necessary materials, two large one-topping pizzas, juice pouches, plates, napkins, and a special T-shirt for the guest of honor, creating an easy and enjoyable celebration.
Beyond the fun of crafting, Be Creative takes care to maintain a safe and organized setting. They enforce rules to prevent mess from overtaking the studio—no outside drinks (except water), no ice cream, and careful management of party time, which is tightly scheduled. Supervision is required, making it a trustworthy choice for parents looking to combine creativity with responsibility.
For families visiting Gretna, this party offers more than just crafts — it’s a dash of local flavor where children get to make their own memories and creations right next to the bustling New Orleans metropolitan area. Whether it’s a birthday party, special event, or just a vibrant afternoon out, this experience stands out as a dynamic combination of art, play, and community spirit in one of Louisiana’s liveliest arts hubs.
