Learn the basics of rock climbing on a unique family getaway or exciting group outing with outdoor rock climbing instruction and enjoy a beautiful hike along the ridgeline of the Appalachian Mountains. Rock climbing and hiking sessions, located at one of our many nearby climbing sites and trail systems, can be adjusted to any difficulty level to satisfy your enjoyment in a beginner-friendly environment. Location is within 45 minutes of Harrisburg, PA.
We'll provide:
Adventure Explorations trips take place within a 45-minute radius of Hershey, Pennsylvania. For most experiences, you will meet your guide at our Outfitter located behind the Hershey Hotel (100 Hotel Rd, Hershey, PA 17033). Your guide will get your group outfitted for the day and you will head out on your adventure. Occasionally your guide will coordinate to meet your group at the trip location and will bring all the necessary equipment with them. If this is the case you will be notified 48 hours prior to your adventure.

Adventure Explorations offers two fantastic meal options.
We are trying to do our part to help the environment, starting this season we will be kicking plastic. If you would please help by providing your own bottle it would be a huge help. We will have cold filtered water to refill your bottles with. If you don't have one or forget yours no worries. We will have water available.
Tips are not required but highly suggested, your guide works very hard to make your trip top notch. It’s customary to present a 10-20% tip to your guide.
Pennsylvania weather can change quickly; bring waterproof layers to stay comfortable during climbs and hikes.
Keep your grips dry and improve your climbing hold by applying chalk before ascending rock faces.
Stick to routes and trails that match your skill level to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Hydration is key, especially on hot days when climbing and hiking can rapidly deplete your energy.
