The Giant SUP group activity is the most fun you’ll have on the water and is a great opportunity to get everyone outside, reconnecting with nature and on the water in a safe, enjoyable way.
SUMMER SEASON: SUP Hire is available from April to October, from 10:00 to 18:00 [subject to availability].
Q. I have never done this activity before. Will there be someone to show me what to do? A. Yes. An experienced member of staff will be on hand to provide you with a demonstration and safety briefing on your chosen activity. Late arrival could result in the loss of some or all of your allocated time-slot.
Q. Do I have to wear a life jacket? A. Yes. Life jackets are supplied and must be worn at all times for your safety regardless of age or ability. We have adult, child and infant sizes.
Q. What are age and weight restrictions? A. Participant must be older than 10 years for Stand Up Paddleboarding and adult supervision is required for under 18’s. Participant must weigh less than 18 stone (114kg).
Q. Are there changing facilities? A. Yes. Changing facilities are available at our Luss, Loch Lomond Shores and Rowardennan location.
Q. Can I hire a wetsuit? A. Wetsuits are available to hire for an additional cost of £5 per person.
Loch Lomond’s water conditions can change; always check the forecast before heading out to ensure smooth paddling.
Safety gear, including life jackets, is provided and mandatory—always wear it while on the giant paddleboard.
Use water shoes or secure sandals to protect your feet when launching from rocky shoreline areas.
If new to SUP, begin by practicing balance near the shore before venturing into deeper water with the group.
