The organisation runs a range of trips including the Underground Vaults Visit, Two Hour Historical Hard Hat Tour, One Hour Hard Hat Tour, Weekend Bridge Tour, and the atmospheric Underground Lantern Tour. Each experience is led by trained facilitators or knowledgeable volunteer guides who present the history, engineering and stories associated with the bridge and vaults. Visitors can explore two vast vault chambers at their own pace during the Underground Vaults Visit, equipped with a hard hat and an illustrated map. The One Hour and Two Hour Hard Hat Tours offer guided descents into the vaults with expert commentary about Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s work and the vaults’ rediscovery in 2002. The Two Hour Historical Hard Hat Tour runs every last Thursday from April to October.
